Life can feel busy and stressful, especially when you’re juggling work, school, or family responsibilities. It’s easy to put your own needs last, but taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. That’s why the Lakeview Hub is hosting Self-Care Made Simple on October 8 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
This session will break down the idea of “self-care” into practical, everyday habits that can make a real difference. We’ll talk about what self-care actually means — not just bubble baths or spa days, but simple ways to support your body, mind, and emotions. You’ll learn easy techniques to help reduce stress, improve your energy, and approach daily challenges with more balance.
The session will also include tips for building small, manageable routines that fit into your life, even if you’re busy. From managing sleep to setting boundaries and practicing kindness toward yourself, you’ll walk away with tools you can start using right away.
Everyone is welcome to join, no matter your age or stage of life. Whether you’re looking for a fresh start or just a little encouragement, this session will give you the confidence to prioritize yourself so you can feel healthier, stronger, and more ready to take on what comes next.
About the Hub
The Hub’s mission is to empower the Lakeview community by providing local, essential services that cultivate personal and collective growth. Our focus is on real solutions for real people, addressing their practical needs and nurturing their social and emotional well-being.
The Hub is about more than finding jobs—it’s about helping people thrive in all aspects of their lives. By providing employment support that helps individuals holistically connect with the labour market, we aim to meet people where they are, understand their challenges and work with them to build a stronger, more connected community.
At its heart, the Hub ensures that everyone in the Lakeview community can grow, succeed, and take pride in who they are. Lakeview Hub envisions a thriving community where individuals are empowered to reach their full potential. We see a future where everyone has access to the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed—where connections are strengthened, challenges are met with resilience, and every person feels valued, respected, and proud to be part of something bigger. Together, we’re building a stronger, more vibrant Lakeview, where hope and possibility are within everyone’s reach.
