Exciting news! The Lakeview Hub is moving to an exciting new location.
We're preparing to kick things off with our 2nd annual Back to School BBQ, the last week of August, and open for service in a new space in September 2026.

Who are we?
The Lakeview Hub was founded in 2024 to meet the community's urgent need for support services in Oshawa's Lakeview Neighbourhood. Over the last several years, the Durham Workforce Authority's (DWA) research identified several barriers preventing many in the Lakeview neighbourhood from connecting to the workforce and recommended that improved access to services in the area would provide the support needed to address these barriers.
Our dedicated team of community partners, led by the DWA and the Learning Network of Durham Region (LNDR), envisioned a welcoming space where residents could access employment assistance, personal development, and emotional well-being resources.
Together, we strive to empower individuals and foster a sense of belonging, creating lasting change for all.
As we prepare for an exciting new chapter, our commitment to you remains unwavering.
